I got the great opportunity to take senior pictures for one of the students at the church (and fellow Costa Rica team member) this last week, and had a great time shooting and editing them, since it’s the first shoot I’ve edited on my new beast of a desktop computer. I again got to go to a couple winter camps with my church this year, and as always, brought my camera with me. I should be posting some pictures from those trips soon.
My sister wanted to get some pictures done with her and her boyfriend. We finally got them done last week, dodging raindrops pretty much the whole time. It’s nice to have my camera back, that’s for sure.
This was quite possibly the longest trip I’ve ever been on, not because of length of time, but because of the amount of stress involved… We took 4 buses. One bus basically blew up part of its transmission – 3 hour wait for new bus. Another bus blew a tire – 2 1/2 hour wait to get tire repaired. Another bus blew 2 tires – This delayed two buses – the last bus had to go drop their students off at the nearest McDonald’s, go pick up the students on the bus with 2 blown tires, bring those students to the McDonald’s, then pick up their original passengers and head home – 4 1/2 hour delay. Then the people at McDonald’s had to wait for another bus to come 3 hours out, pick them up, and take them home. Grand total for them – 8 hours extra. All buses were supposed to get back home at 7 AM. One did. One got back at 9:30, one at 11:30, and the last one at 3 PM. Anyways, here’s a couple pictures.
I got the amazing chance to go to Costa Rica this summer as a leader for a high school church missions trip. Some of the pictures I got were so incredible, because of the amazing people and the even more amazing scenery. Hope you enjoy them!
I had the privilege of shooting my good friends Kenny and Tara’s wedding at the end of July, and have only just gotten around to posting the pictures from it. I had a ton of fun and definitely hope to do more weddings in the future.
Being a photographer is one of my favorite things in the world… But it’s not my passion in life. My passion is to one day be a youth pastor, doing photography on the side because for one, let’s face it, going into ministry isn’t exactly the best way to make money. The second reason is that I love doing it. I’m currently interning with the youth group at my Church because I love the students there and it will also give me a ton of great experience in ministry.
Every year we go to a camp in California for Summer Camp and, naturally, I get selected as the camp photographer. This was my third year going and I had an absolute blast, because this was the first year that I had known the students all the way through. I was also in charge of leading the camp, so I was pretty busy the whole time. Still, I managed to somehow take almost twice as many pictures this year as I did last year.

One of my friends gave me the awesome opportunity to go shoot a wedding with him. I had so much fun doing the wedding and got some great shots for my portfolio to boot. I’m definitely looking forward to doing more weddings in the future, especially knowing that I’ve got a couple coming up this year. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
I got the opportunity to shoot some engagement photos for a couple of my friends last week, and it was definitely a lot of fun. We met in downtown Chandler, which was kinda crazy because of parking… We shot a couple different poses there, then went out to the desert to shoot some more with the sunset in the background. We had a great time and got some really good pictures.
Once again, my friend Chad has done another season of The Mole, and he asked me to come over and take pictures for promotion and for the cover and whatever else he might use them for. Again, I took headshots and a group shot, only this time I wasn’t actually distracted by playing the game. The plus side of this was that I didn’t end up being the first person that got knocked off because I was paying attention more to pictures than the game…
